EXHIBITORS Itinerary FRI 1 JULY Set up 7am - 9pm SAT 2 JULY Set up 7am - 10am Salvo Fair open 10am - 5pm SUN 3 JULY Salvo Fair open 10am - 5pm Break down 5pm - 9pm MON 4 JULY Break down 8am - 12am Pitches There are two sizes of pitches: 1200sqft for artics, box vans and big trailers, and 400sqft for pick-ups, cars, small vans and small trailers. Discounts Discounts are available for exhibitors who book early and who are regular Salvo Fair exhibitors. Marquee Hire We have made an arrangement with a local marquee hire company to provide ready-erected marquees prior to exhibitors' arrival. Please let us know if you will require a marquee. Forklift We usually obtain a hired in rough terrain forklift which we endeavour to make available to exhibitors. However we cannot guarantee that one will be available. Salvo Fair programme Display ads for the Salvo Fair programme must be booked by 15th April 2005. Insurance It is a condition of our insurers that all exhibitors must hold public liability insurance and must supply Salvo with a copy of their certificate. Health and Safety Salvo has a full health and safety policy including risk assessment that will be at the fair. To get a booking form posted or faxed to you call 020 8761 2316. Advertising The Salvo Fair will be advertised in magazines, on local and London radio and in local press. The 2004 Salvo Fair was filmed by Wall to Wall TV as part of a new BBC2 series called The Reclaimers, which was shown on 24th February 2005. FLYERS are available for exhibitors to give to their customers. Please contact Salvo if you would like some. Salvo Fair History Previous Salvo Fairs have been staged in Surrey, London, Warwickshire and last year at Knebworth. See Salvo Fair history Knebworth House Knebworth House is a fabulous backdrop to the Salvo Fair. It was built in the 1490's and has been in the ownership of the same family for 500 years. The Salvo Fair is held on a large field adjacent to the house, next to which is another field used as visitor car parking. Knebworth is practically on the A1(M) and can accomodate any size of truck. It is within easy reach of London and the home counties, as well as Birmingham and other areas to the north. For more information about Knebworth's house and grounds, please see www.knebworthhouse.com £20 pitches for Restorers and Craftspeople We are looking for friendly, creative people to come and demonstrate their skills or crafts at the Salvo Fair. Are you a restorer who works with stone, marble, slate, brick, ironwork or who restores radiators, old tiled floors, fireplaces, baths, taps and any other architectural elements, fixtures and fittings? Are you a craftspeople who can turn wood, make moulds, work with glass, plaster with lime or who have any traditional building skills? Perhaps you can demonstrate eco-friendly paint strippers, lime plastering, natural paints or build with reclaimed materials.
